The theme for this 2009 CGSociety Challenge was 'Secret Agent.' I went with every single cheesy James Bond cliche I could squeeze in. (There are others that just didn't fit.) The background was deigned in 3DSMax and rendered with MentalRay (a first for me)and then combined with the character art and painted over in Photoshop. My write-up for the piece went like this:
"Agent Orange's mission is to steal the briefcase from the underwater base of the evil Crush Governments (CG) Society,
but when stealth and subterfuge fail, she's fully prepared to kick ass (and other assorted body parts.)"
The name 'Crush Governments Society' is, of course, a play on the hosts of the competition, CGSociety. Here's a detail of the enemies:
