August 2010
My father and his wife Ann - a.k.a. Baba Raja and Grannie Annie - just came to visit.

Here is Zach unwrapping his new Thomas-the-Tank-Engine-compatible Crane:

Baba Raja hanging out with his grandson:

And seriously involved with their dim sum at Ton Kiang in S.F:

And some other random pictures of Zachary (and I do mean random!)

Late August 2010
We took Zachary on his first overnight camping trip this weekend up at Lake Chabot.

Mid-September 2010
An outing with Scott, Sylvia, and Atticus: We went paddle-boating around Lake Merritt in Oakland!

Early October 2010
Zachary shows off his latest artwork. I'm especially impressed by the illustration
just to the left of him, on the bottom of the door: In person, it is recognizeably
a soldier, which is what he set out to draw: Eyes, nose, mouth, face, body, arms, etcetera!

Zach with Ivy at Evangeline's b'day party.

And at the park with us this morning:

There's my little monster!

And this is exciting: After months of working up to it in potty training,
Zachary reached the pinnacle of success: 7 days in a row of proper potty usage.
(The stickers being counted signify successful days.)
His long-anticipated reward: A new roundhouse for his Thomas the Tank Engine train set.

Also on display here: Counting skills, good manners, and starting to make a proper "th" sound!

Thank you, thank you jellybean!

Late October 2010
It's Max, from Where the Wild Things Are!

Zach and Daddy at the computer

Happy Halloween, all you ghouls and monsters!

End of year, 2010
Inspired by his friend Jonah's halloween costume (a home-made Thomas the Tank Engine outfit,) Zachary invented and built his own!
Yes, he really came up with this all by himself, except for mommy's help with the suspenders.

Our traditional Christmas feast at Ton Kiang in SF

And down to L.A. where we visited with Bubbie:

...And explored and rode on trains at Travel Town in Griffith Park:

Lastly a fun comparison shot with Gramps, from when Zachary was 9 weeks old to now (almost 4 years.)

Happy New Year!

February and March 2011
Sorry it's been so long since the last update. I lost the cord to connect the camera to the computer for a bit.
Anyhow, since the last update, Zachary turned 4! Here are a few images from his party:

Zach got a new tricycle from Nana & Gramps, Lois & Judi, and Bubbie & Zaide for his birthday:

This one is mommy having fun at Eli's birthday party!

April 2011
Zach and Mommy make a two-headed creature:

Zach with Grandma Bibi visiting:

We went to the Chabot Space and Science Center together. Zach loved the landing module:

That's all!
