Here is Zach, all dressed up for the event (with a train whistle!)
Molly - and everyone else - got to decorate their own trains!

Scott with Zach and Atticus:

Even the cupcakes have an engine theme:
Opening Atticus' gift, a fishing rod:
A family protrait.. with one addition (Eli insisted in being in the shot, and it was the best one!)
Here are some non-birthday related pictures form the past week:
World's cutest tushy!
...and we close, yet again, with a music video! Last night, Talia and I went to a concert by Jonathan Coulton, a geeky folk-rock singer. One of his best known songs is about zombies, and before the show, Zachary and I joined together on a rousing chorus of "Re: Your Brains." February 2010 Two quick photos: Another from Zach's birthday...
...And Kim reading to the boys (Will, Zach, and Atticus):
That's all! May 2010 Sorry that it's taken me so long to update this page! But at long last, here are some new photos, with videos on their way too! Mother's Day 2010
Zachary visited a fire station in Orinda and a fireman there indulged his curiousity by letting him try on headphones in the fire truck and a helmet outside of the truck.
Speaking of hats... It's steampunk Zach!
My parents came to visit during the past few months too.
And lots more random pictures of Zachary:
And a cute shot of Atticus:
And now for some movies... Zach falling asleep while eating dinner. (If only he would do that every night!) Here's one from Passover this year. Amidst the background hubbub and chaos that marks the family meal, Zachary gets ready for his part of the seder. Zachary and William playing on the beanbag: May 2010 - Memorial Day Mammy and Zachary have both been sick lately, but still manage to get along. Mostly. Mother's Day 2010
Zachary makes silly faces.
And a barbecue party at Adam and Erica's house affords some good opportunities for silly photos. Erin reads to Zach...
...and Adam looks on as both Scott and Zachary mug for the camera.
June 2010 Ahrrrr, matey! Here are some photos from the family at the Northern California Pirate Festival!
Zachary with some friends... Here's Jonah from his school:
Sharing with Elinor at the park:
And with Atticus (don't ask.)
On the hottest day of the year so far, we inflated the pool for Zach to play in:
And lastly some fun comparison shots: 14 months:
3 and a half years:
July 4th weekend, 2010 We all went down to L.A. for the July 4th weekend to celebrate Bawbie's 90th birthday. Zachary got to meet his new cousin Landon.
...and hang with his Zaide:
...and help Bawbie open up her cards:
