My work has been featured in Spectrum, Expose, ImagineFX magazine, and Fantasy Art Magazine among others. Recently my work was included in Expose 7, The Future of Fantasy Art, Steampunk: The Art of Victorian Futurism, and Digital Painting Techniques 3, for which I penned the intro to their steampunk chapter. I also have won many awards, including several CGSociety Challenges and Dominance War III. I was a Chesley Award winner (given out by the Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Artists ) for my cover for Peter S. Beagle's 'The Rhinoceros Who Quoted Nietzsche,' which won for Best Paperback Book Cover of 1997, the first digital piece to ever win a Chesley. I've been working in the videogame industry for over twenty years as an art director and artist. I've done character and environment design and concepting, 2D and 3D animation, modeling, texturing, rigging, effects, and even voice acting. I worked on Broderbund Software's Living Books line of children's products, and spent seven years at Blizzard Entertainment working on Diablo II and Diablo III as well as a number of other projects. I designed and managed the ongoing production of all of 3D avatars as Art Director at both Meez.com and social network hi5. Currently I am the Senior Art Director at social games company Kabam. On the side, a friend and I have also been working on an iPhone game, MageMaze, which you can play at mage-maze.com. I live in Oakland, CA, USA, with my wife Talia and our son Zachary.
